With our Design-Centric approach combined with a healthy dose of wanderlust, we enthusiastically serve clients of all design scale on a National and International basis. Our home design office is based in the Southeast US just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, but with easy access to an airport and a laptop computer, we thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to meet with and design for clients located anywhere across the country and beyond.
One of the drivers of creative and unique design is the opportunity to experience different cultures, communities, and flavors. Travel feeds our design soul, and we look forward to these new experiences, no matter where the location!
US Project Locations
Do You Need an In-Person Site Visit?
This question is one that I am often asked when discussing a project outside of our home office area. And the answer is... it depends on the type of project we are creating for you.
On Commercial or Residential projects where we are providing Project Engineering and Design- Development Drawings only, then a site visit is rarely necessary. We can work off of the site and design information that is provided to us by our partnered contractor or whoever created the design.
On Residential or Commercial projects where we are crating the initial Concept Design Vision, then it is ALWAYS best for us to spend time on the site. Every time I am on a project site, I pick up some detail or nuance that ultimately will impact the design. Also having a full client interview in your home plays a key part in the design process. During Covid, I was able to somewhat adapt our process as travelling to many projects was not possible. If travel to your project is just not a possibility, we can do a series of video calls and recordings and make a design work, but there will inevitably be something that is lost and translation and missed -- and that something could be the key that makes the design unique and special. For this reason, we are happy to jump on a plane and head your way in order to create the best possible design for you, your house, your site, and your family!
